The Gifford Residence

AGE 60-70 years old
FAMILY Two adult children: daughter lives in Boston and son lives in D.C.; Two miniature schnauzers, Cooper and Gunner
BRIAN & PAT are a vibrant, successful couple looking forward to settling into their retired lifestyle. Presently, they are transitioning from their main home in Philadelphia, PA to living full-time in Wolfeboro, NH. Their Pennsylvania home is more formal in style, and are looking to embrace the relaxed atmosphere of lakeside living in the New Hampshire residence, while maintaining a traditional aesthetic.
They share a passion for food, wine and entertaining friends and family- ‘the more the merrier!’- and it is important that anyone visiting feels at home. They are conscious of their aging needs, and would like to design with the flexibility for future accommodations; however at the moment, accessibility is not of great concern.
